Living in Kenmore Square is one of the most convenient-to-everything places to live in Boston. You’re close to campus if you’re a student, a short ride to downtown, and near the Mass Ave Bridge to Cambridge. There is no shortage of bars, restaurants, and things to do in and around Kenmore Square. Make sure to run by these spots if you’re new to the area.
Fenway Park

I know some Yankee’s and Cub’s fans might get offended, but Fenway park is arguably one of the most famous stadiums in Baseball. Baseball season in 2010 will open on April 5th with the Red Sox hosting the New York Yankees. The season continues into the Fall (for Red Sox fans hopefully until October). There are guided tours of the park year round as well as many other large events.
Audubon Circle

Audubon Circle is the winner of the Best Neighborhood Restaurant for Kenmore/Fenway for 2009. The tomato soup on a cold day is amazing, and the decor is very classy. Check out the Audubon Circle website for more information and to contact them.
Cask’n Flagon

Named as ESPN’s #2 sports bar in America, The Cask’n Flagon is a necessary destination, especially if you’re going check out a Sox game, as it’s right across the street. Every Thursday brings an exciting round of STUMP! Trivia and you can always stop by Friday’s from 5-8 for the afterwork party with free Appetizers and cold drinks.
Now, this isn’t to say these are the only places to check out while in Kenmore Square, or deciding if you would like to join this community, they are just the highlights. Other favorites include Game On, Boston Beer Works, Uno’s Chicago Grill, and Cornwall’s. Check out the map below to see all of these great places!
